In two groups, one of 18 indentures, 1541-1711, for land holdings of the Edgecombe family, chiefly in the county of Devon, a number being in the parish of Milton Abbot; the other an indenture of lease, 1808, for Swallowfield Plantation, Parish of St. Andrew, Jamaica, conveying land, equipment, and chattels including an itemized listing of slaves and other assets, and two related documents.

Manuscripts, most on vellum, many with seals.
